Dr. Furqan Baig has recently joined the CyberGIS Center for Advanced Digital & Spatial Studies as a postdoctoral researcher. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, NY, and received his M.S. in Computer Science at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. He majored in computer science during his undergraduate study at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. His research interests include Parallel & Distributed Computing, Spatio-Temporal Data Management, and cyberGIS.
