| Job Description: | Python Web Developer One Python Web Developer position is open within the CyberGIS Center for Advanced Digital and Spatial Studies, starting immediately. The successful candidate will work with faculty, staff, and graduate students of the center on its Web presence as well as helping with programming activities in different research projects. |
| Requirements: | Applicants are expected to have a good understanding of Python and HTML/CSS/JS languages and hand-on experience with one or more Python-based web development frameworks (Django/Flask/Tornado etc.). Exposure to web mapping tools (OpenLayers/Leaflet/Google Map/ArcGIS etc.) and Jupyter notebook is a plus; Applicants who have Web development experience with other programming languages (C/C++, .Net, Java, PHP, Node.js, etc) and are willing to learn and transition to Python are also welcome to apply. |
