TopoLens: Building a CyberGIS Community Data Service for Enhancing the Usability of High-resolution National Topographic Datasets
TopoLens is a cyberGIS app for delivering community data services developed for easy and efficient access to precomputed and on-demand computed high-resolution topographic data. The app has precomputed Digital Elevation model (DEM), slope and shaded relief data products at state level (48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia) and at watershed region level (18 HUC2 Hydrologic Units) in the US, with 51 different map projections. Further details about the scope of the data and related cyberGIS workflow may be found in the Technical Information portion. More details here.
