CyberGIS Center Kickoff Event

The CyberGIS Center for Advanced Digital and Spatial Studies will celebrate its launch on March 19, 2014. The keynote address will be given by Dr. E. Lynn Usery from the U.S. Geological Survey on the need for CyberGIS. Dr. Shaowen Wang, founding director of the CyberGIS Center, will share his vision for the Center, which will be followed by two panels on research and education topics. The event will also include a poster reception that will highlight a set of advanced digital and spatial studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. All faculty, staff, and students of the campus are invited.
