The CyberGIS Center holds a number of periodical educational events to share with the campus community insights into the latest in CyberGIS research and development. These events include:

  • CyberGIS Brown Bag Seminars: A bi-weekly series that brings together researchers from across the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to speak about topics that are of interest to the campus community.
  • CyberGIS Distinguished Speaker Series: A lecture series that brings leading thinkers and practitioners in synergistically advancing cyberinfrastructure and geographic information science to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for public lectures and to engage with the campus community.
